It's pretty much the perfect design for a personal blog, I love the sidebar as well. Nice work.

Looks good. The side bar should be less wide, though.

@Josué - I wanted the sidebar to be quite wide, I think it makes it stand out (which I want) and makes it look slightly different from other sidebars.

What does everyone think about the colors? At first I thought it might be a bit too 'in your face'' but I decided to keep it how it was, now it's grown on me.

Also... feel free to leave comments on the blog.

Actually now that I look at it, the width of the side bar is fine.

You wanted comments about the color scheme. Well, it is very blue (reminds me slightly of thebignoob.com's color scheme), and the black on dark blue doesn't provide much contrast. It still is readable though, and it looks stylish in my opinion.

If anything needs changing, I would move the content up a little, closer to the logo.

I would change the logo, a cleaner typography in white.

I see what you mean with the logo, I will change the color of this tonight.

Not sure if I will move the content up though, there will be links at the top of the page (as soon as I finish the other pages) and this breaks up the empty area.

reminds me of the big noob, but at the same time, its very unique. im loving it, can see you have taken alot of time and care at this, very well done
