I've got two tattoos, one extended a little on the top of my back/neck. It sort of just pokes out the top of shirts and t-shirts i wear, but not an issue for work. The other is just below it, my name in normal letters - nothing special.

If you think it looks cool enough to make a life a little harder, go ahead. But I will tell you right now that it is not wise.

I have 5 tattoos and unless I have my shirt off you would never know. Hell my wife even has three and you wouldn't see 2 of them unless your me

Your comment has nothing to stand on.

That area where you want to get it is gonna hurt like anything.

4. I didn't say I do (although humans are all subject to first impression bias, that is half an interview before you even sit down), I am saying the world does. It does not matter that the tattoos you have take absolutely nothing away from you, that first look can cost you a job because every thought the manager will have from there on will be with a bias. I am not approving of this, I am stating a fact of human psychology. Visible tatoos give the impression of punk before the first word is said, that is never something you want.

5. Clearly you did not read my subsequent posts.

I think the title and the first post said "Who has a tattoo" not "Do you think I should get a tattoo and if not, list why so?"

I'll get some pics. The guy tried to talk me out of getting it on my side. Then, he started and 3 of the other artists came in and started saying "On your hip bone!" The other guy getting a tattoo down had his whole chest and back covered, finishing his sides. He said it hurt terribly. Ugh. It was worth it, haha.
