Nice to see another old timer here. Sorry to hear about the failed ventures, sadly that is the fate of most of them. It sounds like you're doing good now though.

Right now I'm studying computer science at the University of Illinois, one of the top programs in the country. I haven't decided precisely what I want to do once out of undergrad, but getting a PhD and going into research continually looks like the best way to go. Business wise I'm pretty much out of the freelance game. I didn't like where I saw the market going and I was getting really bored with the easy programming it involved. I still do the occasional odd job here and there for side money but that's about it these days.
