phpBB forum error, HELP!

People are getting this everytime they post, what does it mean, and how is it fixable? the post still goes ahead fine, but the 'last post by' bit is wrong

Is this 'wordmatch' something included with phpBB, or a seperate module/plugin you have installed? I ask because I can't say i've ever seen any reference to this before.

Anyway - it looks to be an error with your MySQL database (or rather, the 'phpbb_search_wordmatch' table), because phpBB is having problems opening this table. Perhaps it has become corrupt.

Do you have phpMyAdmin installed on the server where your forum resides? If so, perhaps try using the 'Repair' tool on that particular table to see if that corrects the issue?

Doesn't phpBB offer support?

Apparently you need to repair your database.

Repair the table in the database and it should work fine!
