I recently bought an Acer 4736Z, it has really nice specs and very lightweight. The design's pretty cool too. The unit's color is dark blue.

To be honest, battery life always decreases with use, so when you buy a new laptop you'll have the same problem as last time. It's best just to be another battery. Also, I've heard that if you keep your battery in your laptop whilst plugged into the mains, it still decreases battery life (or could potentially) so you should take the battery out when you're using it plugged into the mains.

The Macbook Pro 13" SATA interface problem was patched, FYI. The dithered colors is a shame though.
I built (and continue to upgrade) my desktop, which is used for gaming. This laptop is a 15" MBP. Self-upgraded RAM since Apple overcharges for RAM. I don't care for 17" laptops, too big.

mac air
I just got a mac air for my second computer. I already have an imac. I love the mac air! I would reccomend it to anyone. Its so tiny!
