Hey guys!
About a month ago i was designing a few websites and thought wouldn't it be so
much easier whilst searching for inspiration to be able to have a folder on my
desktop with a collection of
quality different web layouts.
And as i started to search through all the CSS Galleries i could find i started
to bookmark all the sites i could get inspiration from. Maybe it was the Borders,
colours, spacing or use of typography that drew my attention to each of the
sites i bookmarked.
A few days later i went back and searched the bookmarks only to find:
1. My internet was desperately slow (power failure in area previous night)
2. 3 of the websites were just not loading.
So i came up with the idea of taking screen grabs of sites i find really
attractive. That way i have a permanent record of that design that i can visit
for later viewing.
I thought there must be some CSS Gallery out there with a database of web site
screenshots for people to download. Only to find none, not one.
So came then i created :
www.screengrabby.com.
