HostedFX Downtime...

As most of us hosted with Gareth know, theres been some unexpected downtime this month.

From what I understand, the owner is on vacation until the 25th, but anyone know any other information as to why the hosting is down or even better if anyone has spoken to Gareth directly?

Any additional information is greatly appreciated, kinda' feel like we were left in the dark

Ya, this is rediculous

that sucks, 3 more days of downtime until he gets back.. All of his sites are down to..

No employees? No support? This is ridiculous.

Time to switch Host? No? YES!

Why is this in general? Atleast make it an annoucement that it is down.

I was thinking about it, but its not like Gareth to up and leave without telling anyone let alone having 0 way to get support should anything happen...

Yeah the downtime is ridiculous. Already switched a few of my sites to a new host, hoping this gets resolved soon.

Hello, I am currently on vacation and therefore unable to respond to any emails. I will be back Saturday 25th August 2007. I will then respond to all emails as I do not have internet access whilst I'm away. Kindest regards, Gareth.

Why not go to a reliable host!?..

balue.com are great UK based company. Excellent Customer Service and Support.

Been with them for as long as i can remember now, never had any problems.

Hosted FX is garbage, I've tried them before. A good rule of thumb is to never go with a host from talk freelance.
