Help with wordpress

So I thought I'd get ready to open my blog, design done I started to code it last night.

I'm not a coder, although I am slowly becoming one it seems as these days I try to code anything I'm doing

But anyways, I'm having trouble with the sidebar, as you can see it's pushed over to the right until so far down and I don't have a clue why.

the padding around your post in the left hand column is pushing into the sidebar, change your CSS with following;


.narrowcolumn {
float: left;
padding: 0px 0px 0px 45px;
margin: 0px 0 0;
width: 490px;
}

This will fix your prob, however I haven't analysed all of your code so there may be another way.

Thank you SereneIt, worked a charm

Something else I havn't been able to work out - the post text. I tried making a class for it but that didn't work.

I want to change the text and add some padding because at the moment it touches the borders left and right and for some reason theres a line between the top and bottom which I can't work out
