i am wondering what exactly html and css coding is and what it can do to benifit me as a designer can anyone suggest any programmes to use or any tutorials that could help me. thank you all

  Old

(X)HTML - (eXtensible) HyperText Mark-up Language - controls the content of a Web page.

CSS - Cascading Style Sheets - control the structure.

You should learn both if you want to be a Web designer.
