  Old  META tags + PHP includes?

Are you allowed to have your <head> </head> tags in a PHP include? Do the search engines till function properly etc.
ie.

HTML Code:
<html>
<head>
<?php include('head.html') ?>
</head>

Yeah you're allowed to. Search engines just see the HTML output, so it'd be the same thing as manually putting the META tags.
