  Old  site5?

i'm currently hosted at lunarpages, and i've got about 4 months left on my contract. i don't have any complaints about them other than i don't want to pay $2.50/month for a domain pointer, which i'd like to begin using soon.

i went looking at site5's plans, and they're looking to be the better deal against LP, but when i looked at the order page to look at the pricing, it says:

Monthly: $6.95 The price you pay per month
Per Contract $83.50 You owe this amount at signup.
is this just incredibly poor wording, or is site5 telling me i owe them $83.50 upfront and an additional $6.50 per month? $6.50*12 = 78, so what's the deal here? $83 sounds pretty expensive for a free set up fee.

Well whatever they mean, from what I've heard of Site5 from Robson... I would go with someone else completely anyway!

Site5 do have very bad wording when it comes to their prices. That price is if you pay the annual plan I believe....you don't pay the monthly fee, works out cheaper if you pay it upfront.

Not really..
83.50 / 12 = 6.95

You wont save much by paying upfront.

No, you missed my point....the information he is showing there is for the annual plan. It costs $6.95/month if you buy annually, but obviously you pay it all upfront.

But Robson he's saying 6.50/month is cheaper than an annual 6.95/month

I believe derek made a typo regarding the $6.50, I have experienced problems with site5, but that all boiled down to a user abusing the server I was on, he was removed and everything is fine.
