By saying that you "just wanted to post an ad" seems to me like a spam and go. Post your link once and never come back again?

TF is looking for people who like to talk about design and to encourage people to do better. TF is here to help the not-so-"elite" graphic designer and comment on how to make them better. We inspire people here. We're not looking for someone to spam 5 messages and then post an ad and run away... that's not how this community works.

It was your fault that you did not listen. And then you insult the rules that everyone else in the world has no problem with... And then registering a multiple account which is against the rules anyway.

So... Robson did the right thing IMO. If you're going to register, register because you're interested in freelance design or graphic design in general... not just to post an ad on a growing community.

Regards,
-Mike

Personally I think advertising is wrong anyway (diverts attention from Advert ) unless you personally want that advert; like that company and put it up without being asked or paid to do it - like a recommendation - then advertising, in my opinion, is wrong.

Running this forum can be really hard, especially because we've got here this subject: jobs. In the end we're all designers who'd love a good project and some people forget the common sense. You've started on a long hard road with this project, but it's a good one and can develope great.
Just keep an eye on us all and it would be OK

Yeah, it's not exactly difficult. I've been a member for a whole day now and I've got how many posts? And I didn't have to spam to do it either (unless this counts as spamming).

It seems kind of stupid to have a 5 post minumum if someone wants to post a job add or offer a service, especially since they can spam other sections of the forum if they wanted.

Personally I dont agree with any minimum requirements and I generally give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise.
