  Old  Bannersmall price increase!

Just checked their website....they have nearly doubled their prices! $27.95 for a 468x60 banner! That will definitly be out of some peoples price range, I think there is a golden opportunity for another banner firm to step up and take a slice of their pie......Might even revive banners2go (well, under a different brand name of course).

Although...I guess they had to do something, there service was shocking in recent weeks, price increase will turn alot more people away and keep their quality levels up. I always like the new live support chat they added.

That's definitely expensive. Maybe if normal business people see those prices, they might be willing to pay for it, but designers know that they're no trouble to design.

It was probably a good idea to raise them. I have heard complaints about them not delivering on time so they must have alot of work meaning that their work is in demand. Even if their business falls off a little, it will allow them to catch up with their current stuff.

I don't think that people continuously keep using them because that their rates are so cheap. They have proven that their work is top notch so I don't think that it will fall off that much. But that is just what I think.

output is based on clients expectations and input. .not entirely on abilities and skill.

I would rather pay them to design a quality banner for $27 over a $10 company anyday.

In my Business Economics and Analysis class today at university I learnt that as a generalisation, as demand goes up so does the price of a product...that is ofcourse in a competitive market (which is what bannersmall is).

If demand was to decrease in fact, prices would drop in order for BM to stay ahead of the competition, and also make a sale.

I very much doubt that the price increase will affect their income for the worse. In fact I think it will do nothing but strengthen their market and also their brand name.
