Old  Netscape 9 and Firefox 2. What's the differences?

Have they merged or something?
Netscape 9 looks almost like Firefox 2. Only differences is the colour.
We can also download FF Add-ons using Netscape.

Netscape belongs to AOL, and they have announced recently that they do not intend to develop it any further.

Firefox is owned by Mozilla and as they are making a healthy profit out of it, they will continue to develop it.

Brothers? More like cousins, surely.

Mozilla and Netscape have either the same engine or they're just made together. I personally rarely use FireFox. I'd recommend using Safari (WebKit ftw)

Off topic...
OPERA...All the way, LOADED is a good word for it,

"Mozilla and Netscape have either the same engine "

They are, Fact: Netsape is based on the Firefox Code.

On topic... No real difference between the two, Its just the name, netscape has been around much longer..much much longer and still holds a fimiliar family household computer name..for browsers anyway) among the non contemporary users that is
