Old  Hosting for an Anonymous Proxy

I am planning to create an anonymous proxy website and was wondering what kind of hosting plan would be recommended for such a site. I do not anticipate a high amount of traffic the first month or so, as testing and development would be taking place. What do you think? Also, do you know of a fast, reliable host that allows these types of sites?

{AE}Anarchy, I've been looking around there, but it's hard to choose among so many hosts and plans. I should post this same topic there, though.

Yes, Nica, I'm the .:[r]:. from GameRenders. How many .:[r]:.'s are there?

Proxys use alot of CPU so you will need to get a dedicated server, If you go with Shared host you will most likely get your site removed off there system.

That looks very interesting. Would a proxy site be allowed on a VPS or will they suspend the account if it is using too much CPU (not too worried about that for the first month or so)?

With a VPS you are given a certain amount of CPU usage so it wont be suspended, unless the company says in there TOS they Dont want to host Proxy sites.

Thanks!
