  Old  Google Adwords? Overture?

Hello everyone, i have been interested in experimenting with this for a while now. Has anyone here ever used it for their own website? How did you find it? Any tips/recommendations?

I have also looked into overture, this looks like a similar service but i assume there is a great deal of difference in price. Anyone shed some light on these services for me?

Cheers!

I have used google before and it worked well but was expensive.

Never used Overture but I want to soon.

Hope this helps.

In what ways did it work? New members or improved sales? How much did you put into google in the first place?

I only want to spend like 50 cents a day on Google Adwords... then I figured out it had to be tied in with my parents credit card... i didn't even bother asking them for it, lol... i knew they would say no

lol, would have been £5/signup and that would have hurt. But it was a free £50 google adword voucher, and so it didnt cost me a penny (or a cent for our American friends over sea)

I used Google Adwords Briefly while i was running a Targeted Traffic website, once you have got a good selection of keywords you can start to make good ROI. Its not always best to just choose the most popular keyword and pay alot, if you get alot of less searched keywords costing you a 10th of the one big keyword you will save more money and often recieve more visitors.
