How many does it take?

How many sites does it take to get your PR from level 3 - to level 4 or 5.

Please tell me how many PR3 sites I would have to get. (4 - 6 woud be even nicer!)

I'm not sure if there is a rule of thumb that says.......10 pr3 sites = a pr4. It really depends on the quality of those sites and relevence to your website. I mean, your se position is unlikely to change if you're linking back from 10 cookery websites (even if they are pr5+).

Try submitting your site to lots of high page ranked dir's and the more links to your site will help build your pr.

Google updates the pagerank every few months so it could take a while.

thats all you need.

the more links, the higher the pr, you can never have enough backlinks

I don't think Google gives away that information.
