  Old  Ad Requirements?

How many of you have requirements for people that wanna place their ads on your site?

For example:
The border color must be #924489 or
The colors in the ad must match with our site's color scheme

I plan on putting some requirements on my sites. What requirements do you guys have?

colors requiment is just plain stupid!! They are advertising their site, not yours!!! So it doesn't have to match!! As for the border thing, you can do that yourself with an easy css, border: 1px solid #924489;

Colour requirements are just going to bump down your ads being eventually put on larger sites. Larger sites won't take an ad that comes with a requirement on their own design.

if it had to match your site it wouldn't stand out and the whole point of an ad is to grab the potential customers attention - adding a colour restriction would lower the value of your ad spots imo

Well I currently don't have any major requirements for adverts on here. It's a growing community and i'm in need of cash so i'm selling advertising to anyone and everyone! As long as the banners are 25kb and under it's fine.

When talkfreelance gets slighty bigger and i'm having to turn advertisers away I will only accept those with "attractive" adverts!
