If you can't wait and save up a little more, I would suggest checking out ebay first - I usually look at the ending soonest range for laptops because you can usually get some awesome deals by bidding on last minute items at non-peak times.

Don't buy an Acer. They tend to end up with a broken battery after about a year.

Would help to specify what you want to do on the laptop. If you're just going to use it for browsing then you can get a one for a lot less money.
