  Old  Logo and Branding

Can someone shed me some light with regards to building a Logo according to the brand. I have several jobs at hand right now that I got from the online outsourcing site myTino but I don’t actually know what the buyer wants. One of them has to do with a logo for a honey distiller, another one for a small supermarket and the third is for a fruit company’s label. Please help!

Why did you accept a job without knowing what's involved?...

I don't think you can "learn" logo design without some good practice and experience.
Of course, there are numerous tutorials for this, but they will teach you the technique rather than the design itself.

there are way to many notions concerning logo's to list here.. I think the most important one in any case is to remember that the logo will be the company's face outward. Hence, you need to portrait every aspect of the company into the logo without cluttering it.

Read some articles online There are truckloads out there!

Branding can be thought of as an identity. A logo should reflect the identity of the company. Once a logo is made, usually a slogan is next. Then this is plastered on everything the company has, from a website to letter heads to coffee mugs. With the logo, a small graphical hint of what the company is, helps convey that image. This is really easier said than done to get it just right.

I've tried logo designing for months and still cant get something I like, so I feel that you taking a job on without experience is very poor.

Have you came up with anything as of yet?

HEy!

It all depends upon how creative you are!
Its a good thing that u already have jobs in hand...So be happy nd start..

I would advice tht you -->
1. sit with a pen /pencil paper and write down the points u need to be in the logo...liek wat ur cliet wants..the colro scheme..the usage...the purpose..where it wud be used..nd stuff liek tht..!
2. Start to sketch out smething rough....after a no of rough sketches u wud be with smething that u cn go digital with..
3.Get some good fonts which suit the req..( www.dafont.com )
4. Chek out se galleries for inspiration liek deviantart.com get to the logo section..u wud get 100000s of ideas..then u can try logopond.com
5. You can upload concepts here nd ask for critics..
6. Google nythgin u want ...

All the best :P
Hope tht helped
ALi..
