How do you guys do it?

Every day, I wake up and think "I'm actually going to do some work today". But end up just wasting the entire day browsing forums, etc.

It's not as if I don't have anything to do. I have a 'to-do list' with about 15 things on, but never seem to get around to ticking anything off.

Any tips or advice you could give, to help me stay on track?

Well, when i try and stay in shape, i just think of fat people (no offense) and that helps me stay motivated. If money is involved that helps motivate me. Just get off your butt and do it; thats what i tell myself when it comes to chores, homework, web development, etc.

When tackling something difficult I usually put on comedy central in the background, It keeps my moral up when I feel discouraged. I never listen to music when I design/code, it often interrupts my train of thought. As for staying focused, I usually just stay away from games.

I bet I am more a procrastinator of any of you combined. I actually failed a class last year because I didn't do my homework. :P

Usually, it depends on the person on what they do to stay focused. :P

Techno, you spelt procrastinators wrong... unless it is different in UK.
