Drifting 101
Drifting is a popular sport that originated in the mountains of Japan. It is more of an exhibition sport than an actual race. The point of drifting is to get your car as sideways as possible, with the highest angle of attack, and to hold that angle throughout a turn. Drivers will then link each turn together. When they come to a straight away, some drifters will even 'sway' from side to side, drifting the straights. Professional drifters can achieve speeds of up to 90 miles per hour in a high speed drift. All of this sliding and high speed equals a hell of a lot of fun.
