TFL Search Firefox Plugin
Hi,
I was bored earlier so I decided to make a search plugin for firefox that if you type a query takes you to the search results of the query.
You can download it here:
http://www.stevengibbons.com/tfl/
Enjoy, Please tell me if you download it becuase I like to see my work appreciated, Also, If there are any problems feel free to contact me.
Steven

Very nice. I installed it and it works great. Saves a bunch of time because you don't have to wait for the search page to load then type your query.

Hehe, did you just use the sample javascript code mozilla giving you?
(not saying you're taking false credit or anything, but it looks exactly the same)
<script language=javascript><!--
function addEngine(name,ext,cat)
{
if((typeof window.sidebar=="object")&&(typeof window.sidebar.addSearchEngine=="function"))
{
window.sidebar.addSearchEngine("http://www.stevengibbons.com/tfl/"+name+".src","http://www.stevengibbons.com/tfl/"+name+"."+ext,name,cat);}
else
{
errorMsg(name,ext,cat);}
}
//-->
</script>

Do you really care if someone uses your TalkFreelance search or someone else's TalkFreelance search... they do the same thing. I came here to thank you for putting this out the community because after all it is a very useful tool, and instead get hassled for linking to the same thing done earlier? Do excuse me if I roll my eyes now.
