  Old  Dream Laptop for Designers?

I've read all about affordable laptops, but I'm wondering what you would get if price was no object. Which laptop is #1 on your list?

PS - I know MAC is going to be mentioned a lot, but I'd love to get some non-MAC responses

LOL thanks for your responses guys! The only reason I don't use mac is because all my CDs are made for windows, and I've got quite a lot of CDs

Waiting for more responses!

That's understandable.

Personally, I'm going to have to say the Macbook Pro. However, if you have to go with Windows, maybe a Sony Vaio? I believe they are pretty nice.

you can install windows on any mac now , and if you got a macbook pro you'll even be abble to use it in a virtual machine to avoid rebooting on windows

But if you really don't want a mac i think sony and lenovo produce really good computers

I'd like a Macbook Pro. I can't even begin to try justify the price though.

Realistically I'd recommend going with Dell.
