I'm a Nikon fan. The D80 is an excellent camera with many features of the D200

I just bought this one for my wife, and I'm pretty impressed:

Sony Cyber-shot 8.1-Megapixel Digital Camera Model: DSC-H9

I don't know much about cameras, but the quality of the photos I get with this camera far exceed any camera I have had to date.

Mark, I found the pictures looked better on the camera because of the lcd and the amout of quality being show. Or this camera has more mega-pixels

Olympus E500

Same camera I have, great quality, tons of features. Costs around the same as the Rebel, and it has a nice 2 lens package, or you can get it cheaper with just one.
