CSDesigns is on a distinguished road

  Old  Web Hosting Needs

Hello,
I am new at creating sites other than html sites.

I am looking at creating a site using cms but wanting other options as well and was wondering what you all recommend.

I am looking for a place I can also add html to just in case.

I would like the site to be able to have a Blog option and On Line Giving if possible.

I have come across a few sites and really could use your opinion:

http://www.bluehost.com/

http://www.veolay.com/

http://www.lightcms.com/

http://www.weebly.com/

http://www.tweakcms.com/

What is the comparison between Liquidweb and BlueHost?

You help is appreciated. THANK YOU

Moved to Web Hosting and Domain Names.

All those hosts will allow you to install a PHP based CMS. Bluehost is the only one I've heard of, I'd research each one online before buying, there's lots of info for stuff like that.

I don't care to pass second hand information, I've never used them. A Google search will prove useful as that contains pretty much everything I know about them.

Hi,

I would suggest you to post your ethnical requirements instead of web hosts names. There reason is that you'd get better advise. It is not that hard to host a standard L.A.M.P. based website. However there are things like data center location, redundancy of the network and IP bandwidth providers, the way company does support and many other things that matter.

I advise you to compare all web hosting services, as it is a top priority for your new web host business to be well-provided with all necessary tools.

The possession of fully redundant data centers. If you are considering doing business with a smaller hosting vendor, ensure that they have adequate power and connectivity capabilities. Inquire as to the number of lines the facility has. Do they possess an on-site generator?

I have been using for a long time a good Swiss dedicated server.
They have both dedicated and cloud servers. All of them are protected from DDoS attacks. Their support is 24/7.
