Great design. But if you're going to have a narrow header like that, you need some sort of block element on top of the content, or else it doesn't look balanced (something like a latest news or something close to the sort).
The content text also shouldn't be bold, how many websites do you see with bold content text? There's a point to that, bold information is supposed to be something that needs to stick out. If everything is bold, how will something stick out? I'd suggest un-bolding it and making it a darker color, darker header text would probably look better also.
