Which of these webhost provider would you go for?

www.webhost4life.com
http://www.unitedhosting.co.uk/hosting.php
http://www.revres.com/
http://www.site5.com/superhosting/index.php

Is there any other that you recommend?

Well, TalkFreelance is currently hosted on site5 if i remember rightly and there isn't any problems here so i would probably choose them though i have also heard good things about Unitedhosting. . .

Out of those, unitedhosting and site5 are the big guns. If you are looking to spend that bit extra I'd go with one of those, site5 seem a really impressive company to me.

With all larger and well-established companies you are bound to receive a good quality service with all the support and features and what not, however you will also expect a high pricing scheme for their plans.

I am currently hosted with revres.com (purely out of coincidence) and haven’t had any major issues, usual small problems are resolved very quickly and support excellent.

At the end of the day its all down to you and the purpose of your website and the money you have to spend.

If you're UK - UnitedHosting.co.uk

If you're USA - Site5.com

Sam, please keep your personal offers out of this threads (marketplace is for that sort of thing). Personally, Site5 are awesome! No down time as of yet, great features, great support and the pricing isn't too bad either!

I don't think you should go with UnitedHosting if you're in the uk, makes no difference really, they're servers are based in ThePlanet.

Some other big guns would be www.mediatemple.com or www.2advanced.net

True point Anthony, although it has to be said the majority of webhosts these days have 24/7 support and i've personally never had a problem with site5's response (always within 10-15 minutes) in the dead of night and early morning.
