This reminds me of the Alienware website, where you can choose what you want in your computer, and at the way end it gives you a price of over $15,000.

Pity you'd probably need to throw in another couple of thousand for some apps that would actually use that 8gb.

well if i had the money to spend £2000 on ram why not. i dont have the money to spend on that system. (its almost a years wages!) but it is my ideal mac

That setup is awesome! I would love to get my hands on something like that Although if I had the money I would probably buy my own server and have a mini "datacenter" in my house

How is it a rip off anyway? Ah I guess you've been on PC systems all your life and think power is all about ghz ratings.

not all but if you shop around you would get a much set up than that for a lower cost and ofcourse PC Systems are ALWAYS more powerfull and alot more cost effective but i guess in the end you pay for what you want/need. . . .
