That's what I was thinking too. I figured I'd wait and see what people are saying before I rushed out and bought it right away.

Won't be getting it, right now in the UK it costs way too much to upgrade imo...

I tried the beta and wasn't that impressed with it. It looks pretty but I didn't really see anything worth upgrading from XP for. I also hate IE7 and am still using a combination of IE6 and Firefox under XP.

I intend to get it and dual boot until Vista is mainstream, and then ditch XP.

I installed Vista, but it's really a drag on my system, and games don't seem to run nearly as well on it.... I guess i'll just have to wait for Nvidia to put out better drivers...

I wouldnt waste the time and bandwidth it would take to even pirate the stupid OS. lol

Ive heard more crap about how pathetic Vista is than any version of Windows. If not for the software incompatibilities, I would rather use Windows 95 than move to Vista.

iPod cant work with it, neither can Microsoft's own Zune. Thats bad when you cant even program your OS to work with your own mp3 player.

Zune does work with it :S. Zune was only incompatible with one of the beta versions, which got a patch anyway.

I'll be waiting a bit before I upgrade to Vista as i don't think there is a point just yet, when direct x 10 comes out then yes .
