Complaint threads disappearing

It been allowed in the past its just jordan, dans friend.

this similar post has been going on for almost a year on anthony with new post on it which have not died so tell me its not biased

That thread is well over a year old, Dan was not staff while it was active (Sal and I were). I have no idea why it was not deleted then, but many Anthony threads were in the past. Anthony could have had his own category with all the threads we deleted about him.

What if I didn't find them by searching for them here, yet they are still an active member here? Should a person not be allowed to report an active scammer on the places that scammer is active?

That's like asking if a convict should be allowed to be free in Texas, even though his crime was commited in Arkansas.

Thats a bad comparison since all states are subject to federal law. Thats like asking if a convict should be free in Norway when he was convinced in the US. The answer is that Norway could care less what the US courts decided.

If there's some thief wandering around in my city, that goes public. Why? To warn other people to watch out for that person and his/her activities.

The same rule should apply here, just like it does on every other community I've ever visited. Saying we can't warn our fellow members about someone going around cheating us out of our money is just like saying, "I don't care about you, I just got scammed and I would warn you about that person, but tough shit."

How about letting staff answer some of these VG your nobody!

If I go into the downtown area of my town and start yelling out "John Doe is a scammer, stay away from him." I am going to get arrested. They would tell me if I had a crime done against me to file a police report.

Umm..ok. I'm talking about people whom have actual proof that they were scammed, lied to, or cheated out of their money. I see these types of people being broadcasts publicly all the time on forums, craigslist, and on the news.

Of course I'm not saying people should just be allowed to make a thread calling people scammers without sufficient evidence. If they are lying, then just like Jordan did, the person being accused will enter the thread and prove them wrong.

That has got to be the dumbest thing i have ever heard! I see your from chicago, I am also in the US and I can assure you I can warn people in my community about wrong doings without being arrested Hell i can even post in im my newspaper, its called freedom of speech and part of our first amendment rights.
