Also, IMO PSPad is my favorite and one of the best multi-format text editors out there. It kills Notepad++ (just wish it was for Mac).

Here's a super fast way to upload stuff. Say your installing wordpress.

1.Download it and zip all the files up.
2. Go to file manger in cpanel and upload the zip
3. extract the zip though file manger

It uploads wordpress 20x faster then you ever could via FTP. I do this all the time.

You can do all the same shit in file manager but FTP is way quicker for most.

Quick update: If you're running a Mac, Coda will be the best thing that ever happened to you. Fact.

As far as Windows-based programs, I've been loyal to Mac ever since I switched over, but I'm sure PSPad or another new-age text editor would have a built in file server sync.

True that, coda is amazing it made my web development so much quicker and easier.

I love the CSS feature, it's a lot quicker then writing everything out by hand. You can just enter the variables or check certain things and it writes out the css for you perfectly. There's few things you can do through it.
