It annoys me yes. The real concept behind "web 2.0" shouldn't the design, it's about the functionality of the site or web app. Sites are getting way more interactive, and are making the leap to full-blown web-based applications, and I think that's what Web 2.0 is all about -- it's just that most of these sites tend to stick with the same style.
