Old  How to write a design quote

I have been doing free-lance design work for about 2 years and I have recently been asked to do my first website for a company (up until this point I have only done web design for friends), the company has asked me to provide them with a quote for the design and I have never had to write one before, does anyone have an example of a web-design quote they are happy to post as a guide?

I have attached my basic quick one, this template is for small clients who don't require a lot of research into the quote. I always personalise it more when I get to know the client better.

For bigger clients I provide a full detailed quote, breaking down time estimates, pricing, individual elements of the project etc. I do not have any generic templates of this sort as they are all done individually per client, but follow a very similar format to my basic one.

Are we allowed to use that form Julian? Or are you just giving it as an example? I would clearly change name around and everything.

Yes BUrgy, it's free for everyone to use, just edit it of course.
