Old  Best blog application to use?

Well, I did a quick search for this but didn't see it anywhere around. So I'm going to ask now. Which is the best blog to use considering one only wants to use it to write articles about design, technology, etc.

Please state why you suggest whatever app u suggested.

Thanks

Anyways,

I agree with MaxS, Wordpress is the best and easiest. It has a great userbase, the system itself is very flexible and versatile, and it is in very active development.

Yeah, it's easy to skin. It's just a template system.
