  Old  Help With Slicing.

when you use "Save For Web" in adobe photoshop CS2 and that window comes up (dont know what its called) and then you can slice it and stuff for the web and select save settings.. well is there a way so that when you have saved it it will center it instead of doing the most annoying thing ever and coding it and slicing it all to the left of the page ?
its so annoying..
if not then could you give me the ocde to put around each image tag so that i can center it please ? i think i need to get round this stage before i can start adding tables dont you think ?

Thanks for the help!

Im not sure what you mean but i dont think you should slice it with the slice tool in Photoshop. You should use the rectangular marquee tool. To learn more about slicing, visit http://www.slicingguide.com/
Its one of the best tuts i have ever used lol.

Hi Goat,

you should learn HTML first. Just make a website without any images and try to change the colours of text and backgrounds.

Then start adding images and links and finally try to code a layout you've designed in Photoshop

Code:
<html>
<body>

<table border="1" width="100%" cellpadding="0">
<tr>

<td width="50%" valign="top">
I have learnt this and i would like you to validate it as a sexy table.
</td>

<td width="50%" valign="top">
this is the second half :) what do you think of it ?
</td>

</tr>
</table>

</body>
</html>
if i added center tags around the body tags that would center the table am i correct ?
