  Old  Portfolio Layout

Hi all!

After many tries to make a design good enough to use for my portfolio I came up with this: http://kaportfolio.freehostia.com/ It's a picture of my in front of the sunset..I made some layer adjustment to let it appear darker...
(btw. click on one of the recent work images to see the design I made in photoshop, before coding)

So what do you think? Is it good enough for a portfolio?

Regards,
crhriggi

Looks good, but the only problem the way you have the background, is that it doesn't expand. It also looks like there are no rounded corners in IE.. I wouldn't use transparent images, but just make it a two color image.

looks pretty nice!, but i don't like that grey background.. maybe black would look better..
and maybe change the contentbox.. to something more detailed.

back background looks so much better!, it would look even better if that at the bottom there is some image attached to the bottom of the page.

I like it, but I see two problems:

1. For people who have the contrast on their monitors lower than yours, they might have a bit of trouble reading the black nav text over the dark blue background.

2. The content section feels really cramped, add some padding to the content DIV and maybe change the line-height of the text? Give it some breathing room

its cool, i like the bg. but yeah like tyler said, make the nav text white or something cuz its hard to read and add some padding and line height, space it out a bit more
