CubeNova is on a distinguished road

Old  Need guidance from the Freelance Community!

Hey all, I'm new to web design and programming.I'v looked a bit into html and CSS but am overwhelmed on the choices of information the internet has to offer.
I am not sure which resource will provide best or even outdated.
so what I am asking is for your:

1. Site recommendations
2. Books/Ebooks recommendations
3.Youtubers Channel recommentdations

I want to be able to build a website from scratch using Html and not Web design programs e.g Dreamweaver

Thank you

w3schools.com will really be useful if you are a learner.
It has all kind of information that best suits you.

if you are going after static html sites.. than i think you shoud try some other profession.. nowadays everything is dynamic.. i would suggest you to learn Php & mysql as there is a lot of scope for these languages.. and if you don't like dreamweaver.. you can use some other software which you find convenient..
to learn all the basice w3schools.com is the best site.. and if you decide to go after php the php.net is the best source to learn it..

I always recommend htmldog.com. Other than that, just try things. If you come into problems, keep on trying. Then ask.

While maybe true, I'd still say learning HTML first is VERY beneficial. PHP and MySQL uses HTML for output, remember.. (generally)

If you are just starting out, you might want to use a program like Dreamweaver, Coffecup or others.
Until you get to the point where you can use a plain text editor. I use Dreamweaver all the time, it has a built in FTP program and it's easy to use!
