Looking to Hire - Logo Designer - $450/month - Creative and Professional

Hello Everyone,

iiGFX seeks a Logo Designer to become part of our team. The designer will only be required to create logos. We need him/her to to be creative, professional, committed and serious about work.

Job Description: Create between 1-10 logos per day. We may request the logos created to be modified and edited upon our client request. Also, sometimes you may have to create vector version of the logos that you create.

Flat Salary: US$450/month - can be paid weekly upon request.

I'm guessing you must of made a typo or two within this post?

I'm guessing you're reffering to the '1-10' bit there, cpr?

If you make on average 5 logos per day so 150/month and you make $450/month that comes out to be $3/logo...

that terrible pay, if you designed logos at $100 each like most people do and did 4 a week that $400 and $1600 a month so only someone with no skills would most likely join your site good luck not to mention 10 logos a day is alot of work

One word describes this and it's pathetic, how you dare offer such money is an actual joke. Anyone even considering this i'd ask to rethink, you could quite easily make the same amount of logo's he's asking for, sell them yourself and make a lot more money than he's offering.

I'm pretty cheap and do most custom logo's for under $10, however being locked to that much isn't fair. Logo's come at all different prices depending on many factors. You will not get any serious logo designs to join because a serious logo designer can make 100's - 1000's more per month.

Lets say you are not a very nice person, you could easily get the designer to flog himself making heaps of logo's (this deal allows up to almost 300 logo's per month) and your selling them at $25 meaning, at maximum your getting $7,500 worth of stock per month and paying the designer $450 out of it... I mean... COME ON!

I took everyone's comments into consideration and I would like to hear suggestions about the following scenario.

We sell logos for $25, each sale includes lets say 5 concepts (some times 6 or 7), so the designer will basically be serving 2 clients per day. Each 5 concepts will be for the same purpose. This comes down to $50 which he is making for the day! What do you think is a fair pay to give out of that $50?

$20? $25? $30? What do you think? The per day payment rate to be multiplied by 30 days to give the monthly salary.
