I went to the store today, and we figured it out to be about $1600. That includes everything, even the OS.

It would be Case, Nvidia 8800 with 512, Intel Quad Core Processor, Intel Mobo, 4gb of RAM, HD(s), and Windows XP.

Cheap Guys Computers. I don't know if they have more stores, they could just be local. All of their parts are very cheap.

Hmm,
I'd rather get it from Newegg or Tigerdirect. Also if your running XP just get 2gb of ram. XP can't utilize all 4gb.
For a gaming mobo I wouldn't go intel. I'd stick with a Gigabyte as your first board or maybe a Asus if you know what your doing. Surprisingly the best mid range board on the market for gaming is the Foxconn P35 Mars.
Also I would hold out 2 weeks for the 9800GTX to come out instead of getting the 8800GT. (It's only $380 for the 9800GTX which is cheap as hell!)
Also I recommend you get a raptor because it should fit your budget
