lol wow... wonder if the bidder is serious tho'? - i would of thought the PR would be better than 5 for such a high traffic site too

Well PR and traffic don't go hand in hand, I could have a PR8 site that only recieves a few hits a day technically. PR is concerned with the number of relevent high quality websites linking to yours and not the amount of traffic you recieve. I think it's serious because the of the press release.

well lets hope it serious for them, 380k is a crazy amount of money for a domain wish i had a site getting a million uniques per month

does anyone know the most a domain has ever sold for? is this the most or close to it?

business.com for $6million still holds the record at the moment.

At first it seemed like a ridiculous amount of money for a domain name but it got worldwide press coverage which is advertising you couldn't buy for that sort of money.

Shame they didn't have any left over for their site design

No.. rent.com was sold to ebay company for $415 MILLION!
