It will, India is developing extremely fast and therefore more of their population will gain internet access and want to visit Indian sites.
Domain isn't worth much, can't see it being developed.

You don't need to tell me that -- I'm part indian myself, and I just don't see the world in general putting .in to use. I mean, .us wasn't really that big of a hit, and look at the status of the country..

It doesn't help that .in is depreciated, the new one is .co.in I believe, or maybe I got it backwards
