How do you become better at drawing what you got in your head onto photoshop! do you have to be artistically inclined?

practice makes you good. don't be afraid to sketch, tweak, and do versions until it looks right. make an outline with a regular pencil and paper.

People'd recommend things like a drawing table or other technically inclined products. I'd only recommend one thing.

And that is ... "Get a simple drawing board" - Sketch out your work on a canvas and get rolling!

Look up a few tutorials on working on scanned objects in photoshop and you could become a digital artist in no time

I think the OP is asking, how to become a better drawer IN Photoshop. Like, take the ideas that you have in your head, or piece of paper and draw it INTO Photoshop... right?

Just practice in Photoshop too, besides drawing things on paper. I've just recently started dabbling with designing again... Practice makes perfect as they always said...

just keep going. even if you think it looks crap at first, the more you work the more it will look better. change little details. change the colour. the more you play the better the results

From personal experience, you just have to keep trying. Make a blank 500 x 500 sheet, and just start messing around with the tools. Think of colors that would appeal to the eye and then work with those. Try simple things, and then combine those things to recreate what you have in your head. It's not always easy -- I have a wild imagination with every single detail in mind, but I can't translate it into Photoshop/Flash (I usually come up with cartoon/animation characters) to save my life!

Good luck!
