  Old  php coder king?

how come there arnt any disingusished php coders out there?
i mean in the design part theres your 2A etc but there arent any specific people (with dedicated sites) out there or am i wrong?

atm im assuming matt from invisionboard.com (main coder of ib)(and from the UK ) is the best also the VB dev team work hard (cough most are from the UK too)
just wondering if someone came with a huge job who you would reccomend?

I don't think I know any really good PHP coders, but I can direct you to DevLance. I had a request for a PHP Script posted there, I received alot of messages of people interested.

I'm sure there are dedicated sites regarding PHP Portfolio's, perhaps not so much known in this world.

Vilario.com are good...they work with me on banners2go. Matt is on another level alltogether, he is probably one of the best php coders around.

I don't want to come off arrogant at all, but I think I am more than capable of handling almost any size job. I wrote the complete Hotscripts frontend and backend for iNET Interactive which handles 2,500 online visitors at any given moment w/ over 400,000 daily pageviews.

I think that hot scripts lack one major implementation. That is the ability for someone to search for scripts with prices only!!

That was actually supposed to be released this week, but iNET decided to do something different. I can't go into details, but just suffice to say if I had my way you would already have that ability.
