Namecheap Hosting

Anyone tried out namecheap's hosting? I just ordered the $40 package today, been about 10 hours and still no account details email. Hoping it'll get sorted tomorrow.

Anyways, how's the speed and uptime for their hosting?

Namecheap just added these hosting packages so no one would really know how they are with hosting.

Getting hosting from a domain registrar is a bad idea IMO...
GoDaddy's hosting is horrible from what I hear. Namecheap could be different, who knows. Why don't you tell us after a couple of months on how their support/speed/uptime is.

Personally I'd buy hosting from a company that provides hosting as their main service and domains from a company that provides domains as their main service.

I also agree, I would suggest keeping domains and hosting separate. For instance if namecheap falls like RegisterFly, you lose your domain and your hosting.

See there I think your wrong, godaddy are great, yes they do oversell, but with the amount of people they have if something were to go wrong you could contact support with a response time of five minutes, compared to other company's within 48 hours policy, and there uptime is great as well.

Most people don't go with them out of principle becasue they are so big and because they do oversell, but if your not that bothered they should be coming towards the top of your list.

No, people don't go to godaddy because their hosting sucks.

AMEN. Never ever host with a registrar. Never.

And, just go to WHT and do a search for Godaddy's Hosting. You'll come to know just how pathetic it is.

I think that they have a lot of professionals and web hosting service from namecheap.com will be theone of the best.
They are professionals.

I'm sure Namecheap.com are quite aware that they may ruin their well-established rep, so will be delivering the top-notch hosting service, as well as do with domaining.

Anyway, that would be great to hera an updatwe to this thread with Namecheap.com hosting services reviews.
