I don't notice much difference, Just that you can see what the fonts look like when you drop the box down...

It's like a computer-wide version of the PS File Browser. I don't understand its purpose fully just yet!

for me yes, because, I have to manipulate peoples chracter logo's and photographs into a pen..

the new transform tool allow multiple point on an object to bend / twist which is very important in keeping with our pen design sizes..
