I didnt know it was ever the case, if it was I know it isnt now. Also, a 32-bit OS can only use 4 gigs of ram.

ASUS and ABIT boards are good. I've used both brands and they have lasted me several years (one of my computers is 5-6 years old and still running original specs).

IDE is outdated dont get a IDE, Yea its cheap but SATA is cheap also dont get the cheapest **** possible. Gigabyte and Intel best combination lol.

Nice setup there I'd still go with AMD, I have both and honestly dont see much difference - the AMD will obviously be a little cheaper!
