Old  New place to write for money...

I just discovered and applied for http://www.factoidz.com and was wondering if anyone here already wrote for them? The terms aren't spelled out very clearly so I'm not sure how much money there will actually be. My main purpose will be to backlink my website as after 20 submissions, you get a permanent link in your bio.

Most of these places pay so little, you will have to be writing almost non-stop every day to earn anything (other than a backlink).

Yes, I realize that. But if I can use them similar to using an article directory, then it's a winning situation for me. I don't try these types of sites to make money, other than it being a bonus as I use them to backlink my own sites.

I just visited the website and I think it's almost similar to Associated Content. You will get paid based the traffic (and SEO position) your articles generate. You will also get upfront "activity bonuses" for your approved articles.

It's only a PR 4 site. Unless you think it is likely to gain a ton of PR, I'm not sure why you'd look at them for PR gains as opposed to simply submitting to EZine, Buzzle or any of the other Web 2.0 or article directories out there.

I have to agree, although I haven't tried this particular one. There are many sites that hire people for ridiculous amounts of money that it is not even funny anymore.

PR 4 is not a bad rank, as things go. The directories you mention may have a higher PR on the front page but all the article pages start without any PR at all, no matter which one you go to. And link diversity is a good part of SEO, as well, not just the PR of the link.
