I voted notepad+ because it was closer to editplus2 then dreamweaver.

Neither really. Dreamweaver is far too bloated for what it is, and Notepad+ (from what I've seen) doesn't have much coding benefits apart from multiple windows.

Edit: Seems I was looking at Notepad+ instead of Notepad++ (which I assume you meant in the first place?), which looks considerably better, but not what I'd use.
