Need help with image alignment
Hi,
I am trying to align the icons for each news item in such a way that the "posted by..." bit appears directly under the headline instead of the icon itself. Could anyone please guide me how to sort this?
The site is http://www.thesoccerblog.org
Thanks in advance

Thats not how I actually want it to be..I want the icon to float on the left and the two links on the right...It's rendering quite differently for you though...I'm using FF btw.

Hmm, I'll have another look, but your site doesn't seem to be loading for me at all now.

Could you post a picture of what you want the section to look like?

Try changing your .metalinks to look like:
Code:
.metalinks {
padding: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
margin: 0px;
display: block;
float: left;
}
And also changing your left padding on the ul .icon li...
Code:
ul .icon, dl .icon, ul.icon li {
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: 0px 1px;
display: block;
margin: 0px 10px 5px 0px;
padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
list-style-type: none;
}

In fact you don't even need the float: left; in your .metalinks
Hope this helps.

Have you tried floated the .metalinks right, with a text align to the left, with a fixed width? Try that, it should work how you want it to.

Take out the clear: both; property for .metalinks in your layout file.
